    Description

    1688 U.S. Colonial Plantation Token 1/24 Real. One of the very first American Colonial Coins, secured by PCGS AU details came from Stacks/Bowers at some point. The original dies for this coin were purchased in the early 1800's by a London coin dealer and these were used to make restrikes. These are rarely offered in both original strikes or re strikes. This is a very nice example and does not have the usual corrosion. It has a blemish in the center but it is of little distraction.
