1929 SCREW-BACK STARS
OFFICIAL GIRL SCOUT ATTENDENCE
In the late 1920s and into the 1930s, the Girl Scout STARS had a
SCREW- ON Backing
.  Look closely at the pictures and you can see the grooved niches around the perimeter of the round back.  All of them have this feature in some form.  The pictures show a few types of backing.  Although there are several different styles, I don't think that it is indicative of the age of manufacture.  Because of their age, the cards are in varying conditions, but they are all #9-652.
I’ll send the best first,
so if you want them for a collection or display, you will want to buy these early.  If you are looking to have the correct pins on an old uniform, this is a MUST.  I will have them WITHOUT the card on another listing.  Please excuse my watermarks.  Other sellers are infringing on my pictures and wordage.
