TYPE 4 1935 - 1940, GIRL SCOUT MEMBERSHIP PIN
My Favorite Design
(In My Opinion,) … this is the most beautiful of all the dozens of membership pin variations.  All of the Type 4 pins have held up wonderfully and the details are the most distinct even after EIGHTY-FIVE YEARS.  The stars are larger and stand out, the arrows are distinct and different in that they are all the same length.  The neck and tail feathers are clear as are all the other details.  Even though there is no gold content, it is still my favorite!  It is slightly larger than pins before and after this issue.  It measures approximately 7/8" X 7/8" compared to 5/8" x 5/8" of the average Type 5 pin which is the most common.  There is NO black on this pin, and
I HAVE NOT CLEANED it.  If you are a regular customer, you will know that I highly prefer the patina.  Why do you want more than ONE type 4 Pin?  Because if you are a collector, you "need" every issue that was made!! Wonderful GIFT to the Collector or Historian!   Museum Quality.
