1941 FIRST CLASS Pin Highest Girl Scout Award in 1963, Excellent Condition

1941 FIRST CLASS PIN,
Highest Award in 1963
This little pin is not quite 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch and is in Excellent Used Condition.  The catch works fine, and it is clean.  First Class designation was available from the 1920s, and became the highest award in 1963.
With the introduction of the Gold Award in
1980, First Class was completely retired after 60 years.
Collectors will know that the lettering on this pin came in a small size and a slightly larger size which you can see in the second picture.
