"FLAG PIN" FOR GIRL SCOUT BIRTHDAY WEEK
1941,
FREE BIRTHDAY GIFT TO GIRL SCOUTS
In 1941,
GSUSA issued this pin with
crossed Girl Scout Flag and American Flag
to give away FREE in honor of Girl Scout Birthday in March that year.
It is
small measuring approximately ¾ inch X ¾ inch.  These free gifts were not made well, and this is "painted" not enamel, thus it is not excellent (and probably never was!)
The gold parts have darkened front and back.
It is 80 Years Old!

with the much later and easier to find friendship pin with the crossed Girl Scout Flag and
WAGGGS Flag (instead of the USA flag
