YELLOW SENIOR AIDE BAR
SERVICE to PROGRAM and/or EDUCATION
This is a YELLOW Senior Aide Bar created in 1953 for Service to "PROGRAM."
The name was changed in 1974 to EDUCATION.
It has a recessed PAINTED surface which is
very fragile
, but these are in Excellent, Like New Condition.
These are actually new, old stock; I have put them in coin boards for safe keeping and prevent chipping on the fragile yellow paint.
This ran from 1953 until 1979 when the entire surface was changed to an enamel.  There seems to be different dye-lots as the colors vary from very light to medium to very dark - almost gold.
The Girl Scout catalog number is 9-171 meaning it is painted with a J-hook catch.
Please excuse my watermarks.  Other sellers have been infringing on my pictures and my wordage.
