GIRL SCOUT BELT PURSE

Here is one of several styles of the Official Girl Scout BELT PURSE.   It is in the 1958 Girl Scout catalog and called, "
Alligator Grained Vinyl
."
This one measures approximately 4.5 x 3 when closed and
without the tab for the belt
.  Fully open it is 8 inches.  The tab is perfect.  Keeping it from being excellent is the faded Girl Scout Trefoil Logo.  The second picture shows the GS just below my finger, but from some angles it is very difficult to see. Check my store for more belt purses for Brownies and Girl Scouts from the 1930s to the 1970s.
