1974 US Army USGI ALICE LC-1 Nylon Individual Equipment Web Pistol Belt Large?

This 1974 US Army USGI ALICE LC-1 Nylon Individual Equipment Web Pistol Belt is in fair condition overall and does show expected signs of age and service. The original DLA contract tag has sadly been lost, however I am confident this is a piece of first year production ALICE gear made in 1974. When compared to another 1974 example I have on hand the color and construction are identical. The reddish discoloration found on these early 70s, first generation ALICE belts is a "giveaway" that they belong to the earliest contracts, as examples I own from 1976 onward do not exhibit this trait. While the contract tag has been lost, the size appears to be Large. There is a faded "4" written in marker that can be observed. Of note, the "US" stamped end of the belt has been modified, removing the original adjustment keeper and riveting the belt in place. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
