1987 Carvin LB60K Stereo Bass Koa w/OHSC

This is one of the funnest basses I’ve had the pleasure to play in quite a while. It’s koa so not a heavy bass, and the balance is nearly perfect. The ebony board looks great, and the frets are in very good shape. The stereo input really adds to the fun and sound texture with two amps. The toggle switch in stereo mode is like an ABY selector, but in mono it works as a phase/boost toggle. The pickups have a nice, thick sound- even though they are single coils. The body has some dings and dents on the sides and some minimal buckle rash. Whoever installed the strap locks was having a bad day though. The screw was about 1/8” too long so there’s a tiny screw hole in the top horn. Original hard shell case is included.
