The Fender Japan APJ-DMC is an all-around easy-to-handle instrument. The Aerodyne series is characterized by its luxurious aircraft-inspired looks, glossy finish and bound body. This APJ-DMC is equipped with PJ style pickups. It has a wide range and powerful sound.
The curved-body finish makes it easy to play and fit your body, the body binding and matching head specifications are finished in a cool, eye-catching way. Fitted with a three ply black pickguard, contoured body top with recessed bridge.
Alder body material is laminated with Curly Maple (also known as Flame Maple).
Maple neck, body/neck heel cut away for easy access to upper frets. Slab rosewood fretboard, 9.5" board, 20 wide oval frets, 34" scale. 38mm nut. Precision Bass single coil pickup (DiMarzio Collection Heavy Drive DCP-2) at the neck position and Jazz Bass single coil pickup (DiMarzio Collection Heavy Drive DCJ-2) at the bridge position.
The truss rod is responsive, the neck is almost straight, the life left in frets is approx.80%.
This bass is good condition, there are small dents and scratches, tarnish in tuning pegs, please check the pictures. All of the electronics work as they should, there is no rasps/splutters with knobs (volume/tone control).
The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
