Volunteer Service Girl Scout Award
This lovely pin is intended to be awarded to Adult Volunteers who are
actively involved with some type of service to Girl Scouts
.
It was introduced in 1987 by the National Organization, but did not have any guidelines except that the adult must be currently active.
As a result, I’ve seen it used for

YEARS OF SERVICE
to Girl Scout Camps – especially Day Camps,  Girl Scout Association Team members, Special Event coordinators,  special Committee members,  and anything else that a group of Girl
Scout
volunteers agree is worthy of recognition.   It is 3/4 of an inch high x 1/2 inch wide, and came in five year increments.   Check my store for the other numbers.  It is worn with pride by Adult Girl Scouts.  This style has been replaced with a similar pin in green, so it can no longer be purchased in this style.  I think this color combination is much more attractive.  Please excuse my watermarks.  Other sellers have been infringing on my pictures and my wordage.
