Famous for the Doolittle Raid, the B-25 operated in all theaters during WWII. 20 squadrons operated in the Mediterranean. It was not used for combat operations in the European theater. In the Pacific, Gen. George Kenney packed 8 - .50cal Browning mg in the nose and, with skip-bombing, devastated Japanese shipping.
