Designed by Ernst Zindel of Junkers, 15183 manufactured 1936-1945, the backbone all-purpose Luftwaffe medium bomber. Only 8 were available in 1939 for the Polish Invasion.303 were lost during the Battle of Britain, a substantial amount of which were Operational losses - not through enemy action.
