    Description

    You are bidding on a large original antique print from an 1880s illustrated journal. The quality of the printing from that era was exceptional.
    It depicts 14 captioned views of cats. It shows (and describes) the natural behavior of domestic cats. The drawnings are by Louis Wain (5 August 1860 – 4 July 1939), an English artist best known for his drawings of cats.
    The print
    is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 11 x 16 inches (28 x 40.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a caption below.
    The page is in excellent condition for its age.
    There is text/photos on the back of the print.
