    Description

This set of March 1965 Woman's Day Cat Prints was purchased new in 1965 by my grandmother, a cat lover,
    just like the artist.
    Created by Girard
    Goodenow,
all are wonderful prints of his original oil paintings.  According
to the cover of the portfolio, the original
    set included nine, all
    of which are included. But
    there are actually TEN
in the folder.  The one of the white kitten
    titled Sugar is actually
    a copy of a
    photograph by Toni Ficalora, meant
to be included with this set.
Each print measures 14 1/2" wide x 19" tall, including the white border. Picture dimensions only are
    10 3/4" x 14 1/2"
Cat Breeds include (in order by pictures):
    Persian
    Himalayan
    Siamese
    Sugar
    Abyssinian
    Burmese
    Russian Blue
    Manx
    Silver Tabby
    Domestic Shorthair
    Condition Description
The portfolio itself has some minor wear/discoloration/damage on the edges, torn off corner on the back lower left,
    which is
part of the inner flap (see pics).  Paragraph about the artist on the inner flap is still great.
Various types of wear on the edges of the prints and the backs, with some age yellowing and some light creasing.
    Top left corner is
missing on the Manx picture. (see pics).
The actual pictures have no damage that I can find,
    Great color quality!
Please look closely at photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing. These have been in smoke
    free storage
for the majority of their lives, never displayed.  Very rare to find the complete set. They will come to
    you very securely packaged.
    Thanks for looking,
    Sandy
