    Description

    Corgi Aviation Archive - Messerschmitt Me110 C-4-ZG52, No. 1893 of 2000
    No. AA38503, Scale - 1:72
Unit - ZG52 - Zerstoreergruppe 52 out of Charleville during the height of the Battle of Britain
Campaign - Charleville, France, late 1940
Markings - light and dark gray camouflage with black and yellow A2+AL and black and white cross. Crosses on wings and black and yellow propeller. Comes with stand, armament and wheels. With optional undercarriage down.
Model - the Bf 110 C-4 Zerstorer (Destroyer) was a fighter bomber with upgraded crew armor and was equipped with DB 601 B-1 engines. The 110 was very serviceable at the early stage of the war but was eventually turned into a night fighter due to its increased vulnerability to Allied air superiority. The Spitfires and Hawkers exposed weaknesses such as lack of agility which negated its high speed and concentrated firepower.
Condition - new with minor wear on box
