Description
Culligan HF-360, HF-360A Valve-In-Head Standard Whole House Water Filter HousingNote: The Culligan HF-360 is now the Culligan HF-360A and comes with a Pentek P5 Water Filter.
The Culligan Water Filter Housing HF-360A accommodates standard size small 10" sediment or carbon water filters (roughly 10" x 2 3/4") made by Culligan, Pentek, Ametek, American Plumber, Omnifilter and more. This Culligan filter housing is generally used as a whole house water filter, and is often used before water heaters or water softeners to filter the water going into these appliances. Not only will your filtered water be cleaner and taste better, but you will extend the life of your equipment. Depending on the water filter cartridge you install in it, this filter housing can reduce sediment, chlorine, and many more contaminants.
This Culligan filter housing is used on 3/4" main water lines (cold only) at the point of entry. Sitting atop the filter housing cap is a red pressure relief button, which vents excess pressure inside the housing to make installing Culligan replacement filter cartridges a breeze. The filter housing's cap also features a built-in shut off valve, so you will not have to install one in order to replace your filters.
You can visually monitor how clean your filter is through the clear filter housing. When it is time to change your 10" water filters, use the included Culligan SW2 Filter Wrench.
