Unit - 616th Squadron RAF - Les Casson, South Yorkshire England - the Squadron's motto was "No rose without a thorn"
Campaign - August 1941 - Battle of Britain, Battle of Dunkirk and sweeps over France.
Markings - dark green with dark tan camouflage with YQ X in white with W3458 in black. Blue and red roundels on wings and red/white/blue/yellow roundel on mid-section with other RAF id. Gray nose and black with yellow propeller.
Comes with attachable wheels, propeller, armament and stand.
Model - Spitfire Mk.Vb with Aboukir Filter (which was shorter and squatter and was more efficient, creating less drag especially in combat conditions).
Condition - new with minor wear on cardboard box.
