    Description

I am offering an unknown copper coin likely from colonial times for sale. This was sold to me as part of a low grade U.S. large cent lot, however, I do not see any details on this coin that can verify that this is a U.S. large cent. The weight of the coin is 8.5 grams, and has a 27 mm diameter. The edge is thin and does not have any lettering. Th
is coin possibly circulated in the United States before the mint was established, and saw a great deal of circulation as it is heavily worn. It also appears to have been buried for decades and had a root eat away at the coin. A very old piece of early American history that would make an excellent addition to any collection!
Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have. Will ship next day once payment is received. Check out my other coins for sale as shipping is free for multiple purchases.
