The Player Series from Fender continues on the Standard Series Legacy! Offering considerable value, the New Fender Player Jazz Bass combines, looks, specs, and playability bringing things to a whole other level.
This bass is built with an Alder Body and then finished in Buttercream. The Maple neck has just a slight tint to it so it isn't stark white. A 3 Ply Parchment pickguard helps give the bass a bit of a vintage vibe.
A pair of Alnico V magnet-loaded pickups are installed. They have solid low end, crisp highs, and just enough scooped mids to make this bass sound powerful! Until you roll off the bridge pickup volume and the tone down, and this thing sweetens up beautifully! Each pickup has its own volume control and we have a Master Tone Control.
