Girl Scout Pin - Challenge of Emergency Preparedness - 1963 - Cadettes on card

Description

This is one of the first four Cadette Challenge pins earned by girls on their way to a First Class recognition.  It was introduced in 1963 with the first Cadette Girl Scout book.  It was still available until 1982, even after the new joint Cadette/Senior program was introduced.
The pin is a 5/8" clutch back pin with a round metal rim.  On its face it has the name of the challenge, a trefoil, and a turquoise ribbon printed on white.
This example was never worn.  It still on a card.
