This is a
RED
ADULT POSITION PIN that is available to wear on an official uniform.  Red is to be worn by
any volunteers to your troop
including the Cookie Chair, Drivers, Helpers at meetings or on trips, or anything else that helps out your troop.  It is probably the most common color you will see for the obvious reasons. (I noticed that in the current catalog that the designations are slightly different.  Red is now for "Program, Event and Camp Pathways.") It measures approximately 1/4 inch X 7/8 inch, and comes NEW on an official Girl Scout card.  You can see the old logo that was replaced in 1980, making this is
at least 40 years old
