Featuring a toneful Ash body with a 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut bolt-on neck, a Rosewood fingerboard and dual humbucker configuration, this masterpiece is decked out to the gills for versatility!
The comfortable SR4 shaped 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut shape sports a 34" scale and a Rosewood fretboard with 24 medium frets, a 12" radius and a 1.496" nut width, allowing for a multitude of styles and techniques to be played with ease on this amazing bass.
Loaded with dual Nordstrand Big Break humbuckers in the middle and bridge positions which are known for their versatility - from tight and punchy to wet and gushy, these pickups can handle anything you can throw at it! Jazz, Metal, shredding leads or galloping riffs, these pickups can find the perfect tone with the Ibanez Custom Electronics. The 3-band EQ is Ibanez's latest refinement on the concept of simple, straightforward, no-nonsense EQ control. The Boost and Cut for the Mid Control are each centered on slightly different frequencies, an innovation that delivers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones. Precision tonal control, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypasses activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit.
Topped off with black hardware, oval Abalone fretboard inlays and a stunning Antique Brown Stained Burst, this 4 string bass is ready to hit the stage, studio and beyond!
