Infinity Kappa 9 Speakers - crossovers new (PAIR) - READ BELOW

Description

This Auction is for crossover 2 new crossover boards ready to install. This is for Infinity Kappa 9 brand speakers.
ALL new high grade components built to the original schematic with the option to lock in all midrange and tweeters at the (0) level setting and bypass the level controls or to be used with level controls, please specify at check out. All fuses and PTC protection circuitry is removed for a more refined performance.
Bring your Infinity Kappa 9 back to life with these new crossovers built around the original schematic maintaining crossover frequencies and slopes of the original.
The 1 ohm impedance problem in the bass is address and now you will have a stable impedance that does not drop below 3 ohm in the bass section.
In return, you will get refined higher resolution highs, fuller more dynamic midrange and a tighter better controlled bass. The speakers will come to life with a more open cleaner dimensional sound.
New crossover consists of following upgrades:
*Polypropylene quality capacitors with bypass
*Low distortion inductors throughout.
*Air-core inductors in all midrange and tweeter sections.
*Film resistors in the tweeter and midrange section
*Strategically placed inductors to minimize crosstalk
*Eliminate ptc and fuses that degrade sound
*Adjust the impedance drop in the bass section to prevent amplifier stress.
*Lead free solder,  tin/copper/silver blend solder.
*99.99% pure copper point to point wiring
*Each crossover is fully tested and matched before shipping as can be seen the the included graph.

I'd given them a good listening session before sending the crossovers off to you so I could get a good idea what difference there might be. I really thought they sounded pretty damn good. But after listening yesterday
The bass was tight and crisp and clean. The mids come out of nowhere and seem to fly around the room. The ribbon tweeter always hit the highs effortlessly. Man, oh man. Butterflies, goosebumps and shivers. I know the right song comes along there will be a tear or two.
