Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. Jackson’s JS Series Concert Bass JS3 electric bass guitar rocks seismic sound, style and affordability.
This 2013 Concert Bass JS3QM is a four string, 34” scale model featuring a lightweight resonant Indian Cedro body with a quilt Maple top, bolt-on Maple neck with graphite reinforcement, 12”-16” compound radius Rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets, Pearloid sharkfin inlays and white binding around the neck and headstock. Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12"-16" compound radius design, in which the fretboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.
Equipped with dual Jackson humbucking high-output bass pickups that create a monstrous low-end growl, while a HiMass bridge provides rock-solid stability, improved sustain and bolder tone. Includes two volume controls and an active three-band EQ to refine and tweak your tone. The active tone control circuit equalizes low, mid and high frequencies or bass, middle and treble.
Topped off with black hardware and a Transparent Red finish, which perfectly brings out the beauty of the grains in the quilt Maple veneer.

However, please keep in mind when instruments are shipped they can endure temperature changes as well as doing the "shipper shuffle" and therefore minor adjustments may be needed to set up the instrument to your personal preferences after receiving it.
