    1945: He was born as the third son of Kiyoyuki NAKAJIMA, a Japanese-style painter, in Nagano Prefecture.
    1969: He graduated from the Department of Japanese Painting, Tokyo University of the Arts. First prize at the 54 Japan Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition
    1971: Completed the graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts. Nihon Bijutsuin no Tomo Suiko
    1979: He received an Excellence Award at the 5th Yamatane Museum of Art Exhibition.
    1985 - Tokyo Central Art Museum - Japanese Painting Nude Grand Prize
    1990: scholarship from the Nihon Bijutsuin (The Japan Art Academy)
    1991: He was awarded an Encouragement Prize at the spring exhibition. In-ten Incentive Award
    1992: 'Nakajima Senba Kan' opened in Nagano Prefecture.
    1994 - Associate Professor, Tokyo University of the Arts
    1998: He withdrew from the Nihon Bijutsuin and became an independent.
    2000 - Professor, Faculty of Art, Tokyo University of the Arts
    2001: The original painting of the ceiling painting of the Buddha hall in Fukagawa Fudoson was completed.
