Description

This auction is for 2 new JBL L7 cross-overs with higher quality units than the original crossovers.
You will get 2 new crossovers with the same circuit design as the original but with higher grade units.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR CROSSOVERS ONLY.
Upgrade includes the following:
*Install/replace all capacitors.
*Install quality poly film capacitors +bypass in midrange and tweeter section.
*Install low distortion air-core inductors in midrange section.
*Install thick awg low distortion, low DCR low distortion inductors in the woofer section.
*Install new higher power resistors in the midrange and woofer section.
*Install Film non inductive resistors in the tweeter signal path
20+ years of experience in hi fidelity crossover design.

"After several hours of listening to various LP's on my "retro system" Thorens TD124 w SME 2009 and Shure V15IV through my Pioneer A27, I concluded that the L100s had been transformed into JBL 4311 studio monitors ! The sound stage seemed wider and the sound was clear and clean throughout the frequency ranges. With the old crossovers I was getting a muddy mid range and boomy bass. Now the mid range in particular was much cleaner and and more detailed. Your crossover upgrade has been the best speaker investment I've ever made."
