    The holy Rabbi Yechiel Yehoshua Rabinovitz of Biala
    , (1900-1982) was born to his father the holy Rabbi Yerachmiel Tzvi who served as Admor of Biala in Siedlce. After his father's passing he was raised in the home of his grandfather the holy Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Ożarów. At the age of 22 he returned to Siedlce to replace his father as Admor. There he established a Yeshiva where hundreds of youths learned. When the Nazi's may their name be obliterated, entered Poland he fled to part of Poland that was under the conquest of the Russians, from there he was exiled to Siberia. It is told that in Siberia with the absence of a Mikveh, with great sanctity and devotion he broke the ice of the frozen river to immerse to purify his soul. In 1947 he immigrated to Israel and settled in Tel Aviv. Later he set up his home in the holy city of Jerusalem there he founded his Beit Medrash. In the1960's he was appointed as a member of the Moetzet Gedoai HaTorah.
