Rare vintage ca. 1950 Keystone Ride ‘Em Fighter Plane No. 293
Working. Complete. All Original (except for a couple of the bolts to connect wings and handle)
Hard to find pressed steel toy. Solid rubber wheels. Wooden handle.
Steering controls direction of rear tires; propeller spins when the front wheels roll; makes machine gun sound when front wheels roll.
VERY GOOD condition, as shown on photos. A few small surface rust spots. Air Force insignia on right wing is slightly damaged.

Height: 14 inches with steering handle
Length (nose to tail): 26 inches
Seat height: 10 inches
Front wheels: 5.5 inch diameter
Rear wheels: 4 inches diameter

Received this as a birthday present a “few” years ago, and now it’s time to find it a new home. Great toy and collectors item. Well maintained and stored indoors, even when I was playing with this airplane as a kid.
Wings and handle disassembled for shipment. 7 bolts included vintage hardware. Ships with protective packing material in big Walmart box (reused)
This item was previously offered for sale on eBay in its "archival condition", i.e., straight from the attic. It has subsequently been cleaned, including the successful removal of a non-original decoration (paper sticker) on the left wing, and has been re-listed on eBay.
