The upflow system with in/out head eliminates the need for backwashing or electricity to operate. Plus, the system requires no chemicals or additives. This results in a low maintenance system with low operating costs.
Additionally, Vortech resin tank has an integrated flow distribution plate that creates a stronger and more even flow through the media. This eliminates the need for gravel and ensures a more effecient system, and a cleaner, longer lasting media.
LayneRT Arsenic Media
LayneRT is comprised of a hybrid resin bead that is attrition resistant and does not generate fines. It’s ideal blend of selectivity and durability means that it can reliably and efficiently reduce arsenic to safe consumption levels. LayneRT removes arsenic levels up to
up to 300 ppb (.300 mg/L or ppm)
. (If As+3 is present it is recommended that you oxidize the water prior to the arsenic removal media for optimal results).
Low-Flow System
Designed for 1-2 bathroom and 2-3 people. Treats a continuous flow rate of 3.75 GPM and peak flow rates of 7.5 GPM.
DIY Installation
Simple system connections and detailed installation instructions allow most homeowners to install themselves. However, most plumbers can typically install the system in 1-2 hours.
