Painted Style, Safety Catch
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) was established in 1948.
All Girl Scouts and All Girl Guides all over the world wear the pin with this symbol
(although it was updated in the 1990s.)
This particular style is Girl Scout catalog number 9-684. The only difference from 9-685 (on another listing,) is that this is a ROLLING SAFETY CATCH. These PAINTED style pins are more plentiful than the later issued - enamel type - but most of these early pins have chips in the background blue paint.
These pins that are offered have no chips in the background, and thus are in Excellent, NEW Condition and come on the ORIGINAL CARD.
Notice that the 3-face logo is on these cards meaning they were issued after 1980.
