Description
according to the website of the university of Notre Dame these coins are punch linked to some interesting other colonials such as the Brasher Doubloon, the New York Excelsior and the "Connecticut Mutton head" as well as the "Running Fox"varieties of the New Jersey series. all thanks to John Bailey ( Brasher and Bailey)......quite a family pedigree!all Nova Eborac are dated 1787 and there are 4 varieties made from 3 obverse and 4 reverse dies....
The details are excellent and I have priced this example fairly due to its surfaces,
had they been clear this would easily be a 00 + coin........
IMHO
