    Description

This is an original artist's painting done in Staunton, Virginia, by M. Sevier, in 1997, commissioned by my mother. It is in excellent condition without defects.
The frame is a deep, rich, walnut stain, allowing the natural wood grain to shine through. It is braced at each corner on the back .
I believe the painting is in acrylic, done on cotton or muslin and then quilted, depicting an exotic Himalayan cat. The Himalayan is a cross between a Persian and a Siamese, with, normally, blue eyes, but the camera caught the retinal reflection, making the eyes appear the yellow/brown you see here.
There is "No. 1005" at the top right on the back of the portrait, which, I think, designates how many portraits the artist has completed.
This wonderful, well done, painting will make a great gift for someone special who is a cat lover, or for yourself, to grace the wall of a  study or living room.
The outside dimensions of the frame is 20 X18 inches; it hangs with a centered, top, saw tooth hanger.
The art will be carefully packaged and mailed via UPS ground, insured, for the most economical and safest travel.
Thank you for looking.  I am happy to answer any questions!
