    Original Watercolor Painting artistic translation of "The Scarlet Letter" Signed
    This watercolor painting I have created based on my interpretation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter."  The abstract painting includes Hester, the needle and thread Hester used as a seamstress, the Reverends church, the letter "A," Hester's home she shared with Pearl, the scaffold, the stigma, and Hester's gravestone.  I have also incorporated the words from her headstone and an important line of the story..."She had not known the weight until she felt the freedom."
    "The Scarlet Letter" has always been one of my favorite classic novels.
    The painting is 15" x 11".
