OUTSTANDING LEADER PIN w/LETTERS
Girl Scouts Official Pin, MINT on CARD
This is an adult pin awarded to an OUTSTANDING LEADER.   This is the second design from 2001 with the lettering that was added in 2001.  This is usually awarded at the Council level after being nominated by the local area.  It measures approximately 7/8 inch in diameter.  It is said to be enamel over metal so should be quite sturdy.  From the front, and to my eye, it appears to be new.
Because you cannot buy this pin (it must be awarded,) this would be an excellent replacement for a lost pin or for the Collector or for display.
