1979s, arrival of OVAION MAGNUM BASSI.
The volume adjustment trimmer for each string that was originally installed in the front pickup has been removed, so it is not possible to adjust each string, but the current volume balance is good.
The nut has been replaced with a brass nut, the mute sponge has been replaced, the strap pin has been replaced, and there is a crack in the wood part from the 4th string peg, and there is a correction mark.
After filling in the corrections, an over-lacquer is applied from above.
The Magnum Base 1, a solid bass model announced by OVAION, which mainly produces acoustic guitars, is a model that was produced only for six years from 1974 to 1982, and is the longest-running model in the Magnum bass lineup.
At the time, electric guitars were more popular than acoustic guitars, and I think that's why I entered the bass genre.

The Magnum Bass 1 has 2 output jacks for mono/stereo output.
The control will be a simple model.
The pickups are reminiscent of Gibson's EB bass on the front and rear, but the sound tends to be closer to the EB bass.
A trimmer for volume adjustment is linked to each pole piece of the front pickup.
The rear pickup has a pole piece that surrounds the strings, preventing volume reduction due to string vibration.
The bass is emphasized on the front, but it's not as strong as the EB bass, so I think it's easy to handle.
There is a feeling of use throughout, such as parts dullness, scratches and dents, large paint chips, polishing scratches, and buckle scratches.
If you raise the front pickup too much, the magnetic force of the pole piece may pull the strings and cause chattering, so please be careful when adjusting.
In addition, although it is a long scale design, the bridge is long, so please use strings with super long scale specifications.
The neck condition is kept in good condition.
The remaining frets are about 70% OK.
The play condition is good with some remaining truss rod.
