Set of Two 16x12” Gladys Emerson Cook was a 20th century American artist, best known for her drawings of dogs, many of which were used as book illustrations. She also drew advertisements, including cat ads for Carter's Ink and Puss n' Boots products. She also painted and did many original prints, and in her later years, she painted East coast seascapes.
