    Description

    This is a pressed steel toy of an American Airlines airliner. I believe this is a DC-4 and manufactured by Marx. I don't see any marking for the maker. There are several similar toy planes on eBay. But looking at current and past sales I don't see any with this color combination of white fuselage and blue wings.
    The airplane is about 10" long with a wingspan of about 14".
    There is one wheel missing from the landing gear. Some of the blades on the propellers are bent a little. There is paint loss, chips, scratches, all of which you can see in the photos. On the right wing there is also what appears to me to be residue from a piece of tape. I haven't made any effort to scrape that off or otherwise clean this toy.
