Here is an older pin from the National Girl Scout Camp in Maryland called ROCKWOOD.  It was open from the late 1930s to 1979. There were several different pins over the years, but this large and small pin (in the second picture) are the most often seen.
This listing is for the large pin only
and it measures approximately 7/8 inch in diameter.  It appears to be painted and the paint varies a lot from pin to pin.  The background has a "hammered" look.  The green paint seems to chip easily, but I have a few where the
green is without flaws as pictured.
