  • Condition: This Slush Mold/Barclay? 41/2 inch long race car is in Very Good condition. I am not sure if this is a 1920's vintage model or a latter day remake as the car still has a belly full of wax, which is something I've never experienced before, as the wax is supposed to have melted away during the molding process. Regardless, this well-detailed casting has what appears to me to be a recent red paint, that could be five or twenty-five years old. The Race Car has cast hubs and white tires. There are no breaks or cracks to this model, and it displays SUPER. Please review all of the pics to see this beauty from all angles. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this model!

    MADE IN UNITED STATES
    1920'S CORD/DUSENBERG/INDY RACE CAR
    LATE 1920's? Maybe Later? - VERY GOOD CONDITION
    This lot contains a Very Good Condition, 1920's or possibly later, Slush-Mold/Barclay, Made in United States (my educated guess), 1925 Cord/Dusenberg/Indy Race Car.
    This
    41/2 inch long, well-detailed Race Car has red paintwork, red cast hubs, and white rubber tires. I cannot determine if this example is true 1920's toy, or a more recent model, as this car still has a base almost full of wax. I understand that wax is used in the casting of these toys, and I have never seen wax residue before in the belly of a toy. Regardless, this is a beautiful example of a 1920's Gran Prix or Indy Race Car. This is a collector-quality example has just a few pin-pricks. It's possible that this model was also restored sometime in the past five to twenty-five years. There are no breaks or cracks to this model and is displays SUPER. Ask yourself when you've seen another. Please review all pictures to fully appreciate this vintage Race Car from every angle!
