Description
Haldimand is a rural city-status single-tier municipality (but called a county) on the Niagara Peninsula in Southern Ontario, Canada, on the north shore of Lake Erie (Wikipedia). This delightful "gold medal" is actually stamped and acid tested sterling silver. It appears to be covered with a thin gold wash. It was awarded to a certain Jean Ricker for public speaking, dated 1932. The medal weighs 10.9 grams and has a diameter of 1 1/4 inches. The design is a circlet of laurel leaves.Terms of sale:
