I believe this is a 1992 or 1993 "Transition Period". It is one of the "Rare 60" that were produced during the manufacturing moving to Nashville.
The "Transition Period" refers to basses with serial numbers after 2044 where Michael Tobias still worked with Gibson to produce basses. (See web link below with info).
The serial number is 2058 which would put it very close to that 2044 number where Michael no longer had partnership with Gibson yet still worked with them.
    A quote from Michael Tobias:
"The final LA Tobias/Gibson serial number is 2044. Despite Gibson's
ownership of Tobias, all of the basses made up to 2044 were built by
my regular crew. We also built about 60 basses that were not
numbered or finished by us. Those would be the first production from
    Tobias/Nashville."
I had one of those 60 mentioned above, and it was a great bass.
    I don't
really think the decline in quality started until after Gibson moved the
    operations to Nashville.
So, strictly speaking, if the serial number is 1094 or higher, it ain't
    pre-Gibson.
But I'd look strongly at any Tobias with serial number below
    about 2100 or so.
And even after that, there were some great ones, just not
    nearly as consistently as before.
    Michael"

The body and neck are in great shape. There is some wear in the wood just under the G from plucking as seen in the pictures.
The bridge is fairly worn but fully functional.
The pickups sound great and all electronics work properly.
I've always loved this bass, but it's time for it to have a new home. I have owned it since 1999 and I believe I am the second owner (I bought at a shop on consignment).
Feel free to ask any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
    Thanks
