Ibanez Mike Dantonio Signature MDB2, 2009.
A signature model based on the SRX series of Mike D'Antonio, a founding member known for his success in Killswitch Engage. 5P maple/walnut through neck, mahogany body wing with laser graphic engraving, 34 inch scale/24 fret rosewood fingerboard with seven star inlay on 12F, 38mm nut, PU is PFR-ALB4 It has a 2x HH layout, 1Vol specification with an EQB2DX preamp, and a 19mm pitch Accu-cast B200 fixed bridge.
The catalog spec says 055-120 drop C tuning, but currently it is set up with 045-105 regular tuning. There is a glossy satin finish on the back of the neck due to replaying, paint burnt on the walnut material on the back of the neck, scratches on the body side, scratches, small scratches, picking marks, cloudiness, patina, rust on metal parts, etc. You can see the usability. The tops of the frets have already been ground at the time of arrival, and while the fret peaks are low, they remain approximately 1.00 mm in height, which is not a problem for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening and loosening directions, and operation has been confirmed up to ±90°.
Based on the well-balanced and well-fitting SRX, it features a simple 1 volume and powerful sound that is suitable for intense live performances.
