    Description

    Here is a vintage Girl Scouts Adult, or Leader, Identification Pin - first issued in 1968.   The pin is gold-colored metal with the words engraved and enameled in green, GIRL SCOUTS U.S.A.  It was allowed to be worn on the official Adult Girl Scout Uniform only --  a rare occurrence in the 1960s, as few pins were considered official.   It was replaced in 1974 with a larger plastic pin with the adult’s name engraved.
    It is 1 7/8" x 5/16".
    Condition is as pictured.
