VINTAGE 1965 GUILD STARFIRE BASS- CRO-MAGS HARLEY FLANAGAN- BEFORE THE QUARRELL. Condition is "Used".
This was Harley Flanagan’s first bass guitar which he used to write all the songs on age of quarrel
Harley used bass exclusively on the before the quarrels demo which is the most incredible hard-core recording of all time in my opinion.
Harley’s used this as his main bass for studio recordings and live performances.
It could be seen in countless photos from that time..
I purchased this bass from Harley 8 years ago.
Back than I was playing guitar for Harley on the 2016 Cro-Mags -Harley album.
I’m hoping to pass it on to somebody who could appreciate it.
I considered one of the most important instruments in Hardcore history.
The base is an excellent working condition the binding has some disintegration.
This was very common with guild instruments.
I will be posting more detailed pictures soon.
The binding is original and I was told to leave it out of the case so the binding would not get worse the instrument is being sold in as is condition.
There are no refunds for item not as described
This is a historical hard-core heirloom.
It’s not some thing that should be played it should be displayed and kept out of the case because it is very fragile the instrument is 56 years old.
