    Description

    This is a vintage pair of stanchion posts with a red velvet rope divider. The posts are solid brass and their bases are lined with cast iron. Each post is over 22lbs and the rope is over 2lbs. All three pieces are in very good, previously-owned and used condition with some blemishes. The posts are could use a polishing and have some patina as well as small rust spots on one of the bases. The rope, which is actually more of a dark wine color, has a small threadbare spot as shown. There are no maker marks. Each post is approximately 41" tall with a 12" diameter base. The rope, from hook to hook is approximately 78" or 6.5'.
