    Description

    This is one of the first four Cadette Challenge pins earned by girls on their way to the First Class recognition.  It was introduced in 1963 with the first Cadette Girl Scout book.  It was still available until 1982 even after the new joint Cadette/Senior Girl Scout program was introduced.
    The pin is a clutch back pin with a round metal rim.  On its face it has the name of the Challenge, a trefoil and a turquoise ribbon printed on white.
    It measures almost 3/4" in diameter.
