    What a great old piece of Girl Scout Memorabilia!  It's a
    VINTAGE GIRL SCOUT 1943-45, WORLD WAR II. PINK SILK GIRL SCOUT LAPEL PIN.
    The Girl Scout Museum states: "
    Often mistakenly called SILK pins, these rayon pins from 1943 were for unofficial wear. They are difficult to find in good condition because the metal backings often rusted, the rayon snagged or wore thin and the colors faded over time."
    It's in the condition shown and would make an excellent addition to any collection.
