Vintage ~ Very Old ~ GIRL SCOUT Reception Pin badge

Description

Here's an interesting Girl Scout Reception pin that measures approx. 2 3/4" by 3 3/4".  Can't quite put a date on this but the materials used seem very old - silk ribbon, silver & gold metallic details and the mesh backing with pin attachment hand sewn onto the reverse side.  The word "reception" has actually been abbreviated to:  Recptn.  Minor discoloration can be seen on the ribbon.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
