For 40 years since its birth, we have always pursued the sound and functions required by the music scene of that era, and have been loved by many bassists.
Evolving base "BB series" that has received high acclaim and is still used by many players.
This instrument debuted in 1981 and is a cost performance model of the series.
It's a thoughtful one, so it's called the first year model!
Alder body with a familiar rounded shape, maple neck with a good grip that is not too thin, rosewood fingerboard,
Using the standard material, we adopted a simple control of 1 split coil pickup, 1 Vol, 1 Tone...

There are fine dents and scratches on the whole, but are you worried about the dents on the back of the neck?
Considering that it is from the 80s, it is in very good condition.
About 70% of the frets remain, and there are traces of flattening only the surface, but there is no strange sound clogging.
The rod is almost at its limit in tightening direction, but the current neck is straight, so you should be able to use it without any problems.
It comes with an original soft shell case with the Yamaha logo.
